In 2018, Jerome and Iralynn met at a shell gas station. It was on this day that Jerome was in the Newnan area making a delivery at the Shell gas station off of the first exit in Newnan, exit 51. Iralynn was on her way to her older sons football game at Madras Middle School. Iralynn had just paid for some items at the register with her son Milan and was turning around to walk out of the store, when Jerome and his co-worker were making their way into the store pushing the roller full of beer to deliver to that store. Jerome spoke to Iralynn in a flirtatious way and Iralynn responded. Jerome got Iralynn's number and called her the same day. He said he wanted to make sure she didn't give her the wrong number.
